Grand Opening of Second Brewery & Taproom
Westfield, MA - October 28th - Bright Ideas Brewing proudly announces the opening of its second brewing space and taproom, situated in the vibrant heart of Westfield, Massachusetts. Building upon the success of its initial brewery and taproom established in North Adams on the MASS MoCA Campus in April 2016, Bright Ideas Brewing is excited to join the beer established community in Westfield.
Their first brewery in North Adams started as a taproom-forward brewery, specializing in bringing people together to enjoy quality craft beers. Over the years, they outgrew their original capacity in North Adams, leading to the expansion into Westfield. This move allows them to increase their brewing capacity from 600 barrels to 3000 barrels per year, essentially quintupling production.
Designed to showcase their 15-barrel state-of-the-art brewhouse right on the taproom floor, Westfield promises a larger and more immersive taproom experience for visitors. The new Westfield location offers a generous and inviting atmosphere with a rotating line-up of food trucks as well as multiple indoor and outdoor spaces that boast couch nooks, beer monsters, private event areas, a game room, conference set-ups, and picnic tables. This multifaceted taproom will serve as an appealing gathering place for the local community and destination visitors alike.
This expansion enhances production and allows distribution throughout the state of Massachusetts, reinforcing the Bright Ideas Brewing commitment to sharing their brews with a broader audience.
Bright Ideas Brewing joins an esteemed roster of breweries in Westfield, including Great Awakening Brewing Company, Kismet Brewing Company, Skyline Beer Co., and Tin Bridge Brewing Company, becoming the fifth addition to this burgeoning beer community. To celebrate this occasion, the brewery invites the public to a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening, featuring the esteemed Mayor of Westfield, Charles McCabe, taking place this Saturday, October 28th at noon.

Join Bright Ideas Brewing for a grand opening experience at Westfield from Noon to 10pm this Saturday. The weather looks to be amazing. Visitors can expect an initial diverse selection of eight beers on tap, ranging from the crisp and light Kölsch to the rich and roasty Schwarzbier, with many more brews to come. The spacious taproom offers a variety of settings to enjoy these delectable brews and also encourages guests to bring folding lawn chairs and blankets for outdoor enjoyment, as some picnic tables are still on their way.
